With adequate resources allied to Department of Child Care and Family Studies, the program intends to cultivate social workers prepared for present and future challenges. It aims to prepare graduates with academic training for the professional licentiate degrees benefiting children, youth, women and families, elderly people, people with disabilities, medical and mental health social work.
Students who graduate from this program can apply for relevant institutes in social work, social welfare, counseling and counseling, family education, adult education, public relations, labor relations, etc., or study abroad for further study. Also, for employment, Students who graduate from this program are qualified as social workers. At the same time, they can apply for the national exam as the licensed social worker and Public social worker.
In addition, those with a social worker certificate can also open a social worker office to implement social worker-related projects. Those who have obtained a social worker certificate for more than five years and have completed the sub-discipline training of social workers in the designated specialties may participate in the screening of social workers in the respective specialties.
